The Johnston's CURRENT NEWS:

After an exciting spring at field trials with GSP Heart finishing her Dual Championship in February, and Tink (GSP puppy from Sunnyfield Kennel) and Jakki (pointer puppy from Kinnike Kennels) winning several Open and Amateur puppy and/or derby states, it was off to a few conformation shows. Buddy finished his Grand Championship in Jackson, TN and Jakki finished her Championship with a 5 point major in Greenville, SC. In very limited showing, DC Heart is within 4 points of finishing her Grand Champion title (but won’t be shown again until litter is weaned.) Buddy is currently in the top 25 Pointers and has been invited to Eukanuba.

In obedience, Kona earned a CD, which completed the requirements for the AKC’s versatility title, VCD1. In Agility, Buddy earned an Open standard title and move up to excellent; Cassedy earned her first MACH points and Kona has been invited to the Eukanuba agility competition for being in the top 5 pointers.
